The primary responsibility of the Clinical Operations Manager is to provide visible, on-site leadership in several specialty areas that include Allergy, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Retinal, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Nephrology and Rheumatology. You will work closely with Providers, Nursing, Service Line, Support Services and Revenue Cycle leaders to monitor, evaluate, and improve provider and employee engagement, service excellence, clinical quality, environment of care and financial performance within their location. Responsible for supporting the local execution of practice-wide improvement strategies. 

This position requires travel throughout our service area forging relationships and driving quality. You can be located anywhere in our service area with ideal locations being in Fishkill or Carmel which would allow the best access to our various locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide visible, supportive leadership for Providers, Staff and PatientsImprove Provider and Employee EngagementImprove Clinical Quality Assure compliance with regulatory requirements Promote Service ExcellenceMaximize Financial PerformanceRepresent Optum in the local community

Competency Requirements: 

Human Capital Management: Builds and manages workforce based on organizational goals, budget considerations, and staffing needs Work Management: Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective resultsFinancial Management: Develops and monitors annual operational and capital budgets for area of responsibility

Required Qualifications: 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursingActive, unrestricted RN license in the state of NY3+ years of experience, in a multi-specialty Practice setting, 2 of which in a leadership roleDemonstrated successful track record in a leadership positionDemonstrated exceptional communication skills and ability to handle difficult situations with staff

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient Computer Skills (EMR, Outlook, Word, Excel)

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70, to $,+ annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
