Director of Operations Project Management

The Director of Operations Project Management will support the development of operational improvement strategy, aggregating and analyzing data, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to develop project structure and execute on a timeline and budget that meets company goals. The Director of Operations Project Management will play a key leadership function that will impact on a company-wide scale process improvements and initiatives that drive the best
economics in our dialysis centers. This role will operate on a national level, working with each of the company’s functional groups and operating teams across the country.

Essential Functions:

1. Function as the single-threaded leader for all corporate projects.
2. Support Operations in developing and executing on strategic imperatives.
3. Drive collaboration across functional groups for each project.
4. Support communication by helping to craft and deliver key messages.
5. Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, then implement solutions.
6. Lead critical projects working across multiple functional groups including Operations, IT, etc.; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
7. Develop feedback mechanisms that deliver pertinent results data to evaluate and pivot when necessary.
8. Manage and drive strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with other teams.
9. Structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and drive execution.
10. Develop and communicate project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions.
11. Create, implement, and drive adoption of processes and solutions to further business outcomes.
12. Communicate project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepare, report, and manage against targets/goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position may have overall supervisory responsibility for direct reports as business needs require.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work & Travel:

This is a Full-Time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Travel is expected for this position, approximately 25% of the time.

Required Education and Experience:

- Prior experience in Project Management, Strategy, and/or Consulting, or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within healthcare or financial operations leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a strategic or operational leadership role.
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
- Prior experience in healthcare services and/or working with payors, physician networks, value-based care models, and/or integrated care models preferred.
