Posting Summary

Provide a welcoming environment for internal and external constituents in the College of Education and Social Services (CESS) as the first point of contact in the Dean’s Office. Assist with general support for complex scheduling, event planning, and backup support for the Dean, maintaining sensitive and confidential information. Support CESS Dean’s Office operations, reception, calendaring, event planning, travel and logistics for both Dean and Associate Deans. Provide general administrative support to the Office of Student Services, managing phone and email inquiries from prospective, admitted students, and others. Administratively support faculty committees, as needed. Work collaboratively with other CESS departments in support of faculty searches and events. Take the initiative and anticipate operational efficiencies. Contribute to the diversity and excellence of the College and University. This position reports to the CESS Dean’s Office Administrative Operations Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Associate’s degree in related area and one to three years related experience required. Proficiency with office software applications including Word, Outlook (Calendaring and Scheduling), MS Teams and Zoom meetings coordination, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite including creative design. Ability to adapt to evolving technology to enhance office operations required. Effective communication. interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills. The ability to remain flexible and calm while prioritizing different tasks required to meet critical deadlines. Attention to detail and organizational skills essential. Desirable Qualifications Anticipated Pay Range $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
