Infant and Toddler Teacher

El Concilio is accepting applications for Infant and Toddler teaching positions. The Infant and Toddlers Teachers are responsible for all components of quality instruction for El Concilio California's Early Childhood Development Centers. The Infant & Toddler Teachers adheres to State of California early learning requirements and conduct appropriate observations and assessments while providing individualized curriculum that meets the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of children. You must be able to function with a high level of independence in the design and implementation of instructional activities and assessment. The Infant and Toddler Teacher shall maintain excellent professional communication amongst the children's parents/guardians and provide updates regarding student progress. This position involves constant supervision of children and scaffolding of their daily schedule which involves recreational time, nap time, and lunch time. The Infant and Toddler Teacher will utilize teaching tools to create an engaging classroom environment with positive learning experiences.
Employment Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Work Hours: Monday - Friday; Hours vary by site/classroom
Requirements:
- Background Check,

- Valid Driver's License.
- Up-to-date Car Insurance
- CPR & First Aid with EMSA certification; completion within 60 days of hire
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood education or related field with an Associates Teacher Permit or higher is highly preferred; An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with an Associates Teacher Permit or higher is highly preferred; A Highschool Diploma with an Associates Teacher Permit or higher is required. A minimum of 3 units in Infant & Toddler are required.

Leave: El Concilio offers PTO (Personal Time-Off) benefits as well as 13 paid holidays per year to all permanent employees. Part-time employees' leave benefits are prorated.
