Job Summary

El Concilio is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Preschool/Infant and Toddler Teacher. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a high level of independence in designing and implementing instructional activities and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-quality instructional programs for Preschool/Infant and Toddler students, adhering to State of California early learning requirements.
  • Conduct observations and assessments to inform individualized curriculum and meet the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of children.
  • Maintain excellent professional communication with parents/guardians and provide regular updates on student progress.
  • Supervise children during daily activities, including recreational time, nap time, and lunch time.
  • Create an engaging classroom environment with positive learning experiences, utilizing teaching tools and resources.

Requirements:

  • Background Check
  • Health Records/Immunizations
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Up-to-date Car Insurance
  • CPR & First Aid with EMSA certification (completion within 60 days of hire)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with an Associate's Teacher Permit or higher
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with an Associate's Teacher Permit or higher
  • High School Diploma with an Associate's Teacher Permit or higher
  • Minimum of 3 units in Infant & Toddler
