Job Title: Benefits Senior Associate

Job location: Chicago, IL

Job description:

Seeking a professional, energetic and enthusiastic Benefits Professional to join our North America HR (Human Resource) Shared Services team. The Benefits Professional will support the day-to-day operations and administration of Capgemini benefit programs including defined benefits, supplemental retirement benefits and health and welfare benefit plans. This role will provide support to the North America team in delivering on key objectives, including data analysis, compliance support, executing process improvements and reporting

Key Responsibilities: 

· Support retirement plan strategy and administration by assisting with the analysis and execution of compliance activities including plan filings, Nondiscrimination Testing, audits, PBGC premium payments and others.

· Partner with plan recordkeeper and payroll vendor to monitor and resolve escalated issues and ensure that all retirement plans are accurately administered

· Manage funding activities required for retirement and Health Savings Account associated with HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan)

· Support various projects and programs within the Benefits Tower as well as the HR Services organization as assigned

· Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data such as employee and employer (k) contributions; resolve discrepancies within payroll and recordkeeper

· Support day-to-day operational issues, fielding employee benefits questions from the HR community through benefits department mailbox and assist with appeals

Required Skills:  

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in benefits and retirement plan administration

· Experience working in a shared services environment or having held a cross-functional role in a professional services organization

· Experience handling routine to complex benefit inquiries and demonstrating a strong degree of judgement and professional approach

· Experience with the management and administration of (k) retirement plans

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively balance competing priorities

· Proven ability to form an analysis and drive recommendations through to completion

· Ability to build rapport with both internal and vendor stakeholders

· Experience in analyzing benefit data and reports

· Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot table, v-lookups, formulas, etc.)
