Deputy Design Build Manager – Highway Roadway Transportation

AECOM is seeking to hire a Deputy Design Build Manager – Highway Roadway Transportation to support our exciting projects in the Pacific Northwest.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
- Assist in leading a team of professionals overseeing design of large scale complex projects with an emphasis on design-build delivery.
- Assist in supervising and leading the project plan.
- Track budgets and schedules for project deliverables.
- Develop and manage key client relationships.
- Provide technical expertise.
- Ensure quality control process and submittals of work developed by others.
- Assist in managing design package submittals.
- Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain Washington PE within twelve months if not currently registered in WA
- Experience delivering design build projects with WSDOT on large complex highway projects
- Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets
- Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, and best practices
- Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience
- Local candidates to Seattle highly preferred
