Overview:

We are looking for a Sales Professional who is passionate about inspiring travel specialists in the business market to make Hotel Flor the destination choice for their business client base and grow our business market share.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed solicitation goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, and written communication
  • Meet & Greet VIP clients of travel specialists
  • Be and Active member in business industry associations
  • Create and execute site visit ritual for business clients
  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to current and potential clients
  • Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of the customer relationship with the hotel is complete and documented. Coordinate various departments participation in servicing accounts
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Prepare information to meet with and entertain clients, as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers
  • Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance
  • Participate in daily business review meeting, training and other sales-related meetings as required
  • Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings as necessary to develop these markets
  • Gain knowledge of competition and key customers in these markets

Prior experience in hotel sales is preferred, as well as, sales within the business market segment.
