The firm has 13 offices throughout the U.S. and in the U.K., and more than 640 attorneys and staff firmwide. [Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the firms business development strategy and objectives, working closely with the Business Development Director. The role requires a firmwide focus. [Essential Functions: [Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ]{calibri",sans-serif"=""} ]{calibri",sans-serif"=""} ]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}]{calibri",sans-serif"=""} [Supports the Business Development Director to drive the firms Cross-Selling and Business Development programs.]{calibri",sans-serif"=""} Drives the development and execution of individual lawyer business development plans, ensuring that plans are tied to the firms practice group and strategic plans and goals, and have clearly stated action items and measurable milestones; Maintains a strong working relationship and high-level of interaction with lawyers; Works with lawyers to identify business development opportunities through cross-selling and/or collaboration; Identifies and executes on concrete actions discussed during meetings; and Reports on progress weekly. Supports the firms Business Development Director in completing Requests for Proposal (RFP) and other client / prospect-specific requests. Engages with the Director of Marketing and Marketing team on related needs and functions within the plans to ensure a comprehensive approach, and collaborates on marketing materials required to advance BD opportunities; Collaborates with the Special Events Manager to develop / deliver business development strategy surrounding firm events; Manages members of the business development team by delegating tasks, monitoring task completion and managing team performance.
