Business Development Lead

Benefit Recovery Group (“BRG”) is the leading healthcare payment integrity provider servicing many of the largest employer health plans in the United States. We are currently hiring a Business Development Lead with a proven history of achieving sales goals and entering new markets. In this role, you will be responsible for generating conversations with Third Party Administrator (TPA) leaders and leading the sales cycle from lead generation to close.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a hard-working professional to drive additional growth at an organization with a proven service that already has a large and happy client base. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development, and it is expected that business travel will be necessary (a few days per month).
Responsibilities
Achieve sales goals by conducting discovery meetings, preparing proposal presentations, skillfully negotiating agreements, and closing new business
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, as well as lead and facilitate sales presentations
Create effective sales messaging
Perform prospecting activities such as cold calling and networking
Utilize Salesforce CRM system to manage sales pipeline and efficiently drive sales to close
Meet sales quotas
Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of BRG’s services, value propositions, differentiators, competitors, and pricing structure
Qualifications
5+ years of complex B2B selling experience (selling to TPAs is a plus)
Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce is a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to think strategically
