With 109 guest rooms, 603 square feet of conference and event space, a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views, a 24-hour fitness center, and a bar and grille, as the Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and creativity to sell hotel rooms and function space.

SALES MANAGER (SALARY: $65K-$85K)

Position Summary:

Responsible for selling hotel rooms and function space.

Essential Functions:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and guest satisfaction.
  2. Foster strong relationships with key accounts, decision makers and clients to drive repeat business.
  3. Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone and internet prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
  4. Achieve or exceed monthly booking and activity goals.
  5. Serves as the hotel representative to prospective clients and customers for rooms, meeting space, banquet services, etc.
  6. Participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans.
  8. Utilize market research to identify trends and opportunities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  9. Uphold and enhance the hotel’s brand image and positioning in the market.
  10. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and touchpoints.
  11. Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, including operations, finance, and guest services.
  12. Strategize with revenue team to maximize rates and achieve overall long-term goals.
  13. Drive business on shoulder days, recognizing patterns and securing business that makes sense for the property.
  14. Plan and participate in sales blitzes to targeted market segments and accounts.
  15. Ensure all leads within market segments are responded to within the deadline.
  16. Knowledge of all hotel facilities and nearby attractions.
  17. Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel. Including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
  18. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by willingly engaging in other critical sales areas when required. Additional duties may be required based on the business needs.


Education and Experience:

  • Experience in sales.
  • Previous hotel experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
