The role is responsible for conducting financial analysis and data-mining to develop KPIs to measure financial and operational performance to assist business planning and improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. This job plays a critical role in providing insight analysis to multiple departments/functions, such as procurement, logistics, warehouse, production, engineering, customer operation and finance. In addition, this individual will assist perform internal controls, and drives improvement in the key processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collect, organize, and analyse inventory data from various sources to create a weekly report for powerful and meaningful business and operational analysis. Update python script if new data required by management team.
  • Analyse site transfer, ESR, Eval, RMA and RTV activities. Generate monthly ESR E&O report.
  • Monitor and analyse the internal freight & PPV expense. Track PPV, site transfer and request to invoice projects through Jira.
  • Perform financial and operational modelling for reports to customers, including inventory turnover analysis, freight, and tariff reconciliation.
  • Design and update Tableau Prep workflow for excess inventory analysis. Provide E&O inventory tracking feedback and work with internal teams to clean up excess inventory.
  • Support ad-hoc business and financial analysis requests from other departments

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics or related field required, advanced degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in Finance field
  • Advanced PC skills and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Independent problem solver with ability to decode large quantity of complex data into easy to understand findings, observations, and action items
  • Detail oriented and committed to deadlines
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
  • Familiar with financial and accounting principles, such as inventory aging, turnover ratio, revenue recognition, etc.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for performance& procedure improvement across the organization
  • Highly analytical with the ability to handle complex problems and build models.
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and data visualization
  • Proven analytical background.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Python, Jira, and Tableau Prep is preferred.
