Founded in 2016, Tube Supply provides quality steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications, including drilling, completions, production, and downhole tools.  As a joint venture with Houston-based Triple-S Steel Holdings, we have combined the quality, expertise, and service you have come to know from Tube Supply with the resources and capabilities of Triple-S.  Our steel tubular and bar products are tailored specifically to meet the demands of the oil and gas industry, including high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and sour (H2S) well environments. Tube Supply clients are leading oil and gas service companies, OEMs, and manufacturing centers spanning as far as Canada and Mexico in addition to the United States.

Responsibilities:
Description of Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire Sales team’s training, performance, and sales metrics

Create and enforce an aligned Sales strategy for the Edmonton branch that will facilitate coordination and cooperation with the main office

Implement a schedule for the Sales team to regularly visit with customers to improve those relationships

Coordinate with the main office on pricing strategy

Coordinate with accounting department on intercompany transfer pricing and oversee Canadian sales team’s adherence to set transfer pricing guidelines

Monitor inventory levels and alert Supply Chain when updates are needed

Communicate with Supply Chain and the Strategic Accounts departments regarding adequate inventory levels, etc. to ensure our ability to take on large projects and long-term contracts

Help liaise between the Sales & Operations departments regarding material and delivery requirements

Manage the workload and account allocation for the Sales staff as needed

Improve efficiency by reducing costs and improving processes

Monitor and report Sales KPI’s to management weekly

Continue all Account Management duties, including quoting, selling, and customer relationship management

Preservation of records (Sales, Orders, services, etc.)

Support Management’s vision and direction related to the company as a whole

Communicate clearly and timely to staff in your care any changes or updates as needed

Review and approve all sales staff PTO’s while maintaining sufficient staff levels

Maintain real-time accuracy as needed in the PTO calendar & allowable Vacation/ Sick days

Approve all hourly timesheet records of staff in your care

Assist all other departments as needed

Ensure a clean working environment within the sales area, kitchen, and washrooms

Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Tube Supply

Performs other duties as assigned by a Management/Supervisor

Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales

Minimum 5 years of experience with reading and understanding Mill Test reports and Customer Specifications

High level computer and document processing skills

Excellent critical thinking ability

Able to plan, prioritize, and multi-task
