Inside Technical Sales Representative

Responsibilities:
Develop and identify potential new accounts through strategic research and proactive solicitation, utilizing a combination of cold calls and emails.
Meet or exceed annually set sales targets by effectively managing sales opportunities.
Maintain and enhance existing accounts with a structured development plan, ensuring strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
Provide technical information and customized proposals to meet specific client needs, coordinating closely with the Engineering team for custom product estimates.
Follow up on proposals and quotes diligently to secure business, and coordinate with the Sales Manager to navigate any sales barriers.
Analyze and summarize competitor information and trends to identify new sales opportunities.
Maintain high-quality standards by adhering to company policies and suggesting improvements when necessary.
Ensure comprehensive customer satisfaction through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to post-delivery follow-up.
Assist the Accounting Department with the collection of past-due payments as necessary.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in a business or technical field.
Minimum of three years of experience in technical sales.
Proficiency in various computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably SPIRO, to manage customer interactions and data.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic sales environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on building customer rapport and effective communication.
High initiative, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
Bilingual abilities, especially proficiency in Spanish, are highly desirable.
