This role serves as the part of the CPG & Retailer delivery team for key US based program.  Critical for success in this role is the ability to generate actionable insights and build strong relationships with CPG organizations. An ability to quickly establish yourself as a trusted advisor to the Leadership team will help you to drive strategic and financial value for the client.

Job Description:
What You’ll Do:

 

Expert in new customer insights solution, creating use case scenarios to present to internal team and potential CPG Clients.

Support CPG client objectives to improve their overall business by driving customer loyalty and sales

Provide the thought leadership and consultative services required to drive customer-centric collaborative engagement with CPGs.

Develop close consultative working relationships with VPs, Directors and Senior Managers from different functional areas including Category Management, Sales, Shopper Insights and Analytics.

Participate in key client meetings and share insights to support decision making related to promotions, pricing, assortment, innovation, and category health.

Coach assigned clients’ skill sets in the application of customer data methodologies and analytic approaches and the usages of SymphonyAI Retail’s analytics tools to solve their key business issues and support their corporate strategies.

Manage book of business and be accountable to achieving a 100% renewal number on existing CPG clients, along with driving upsells with CPG clients.

Work with SRAI Analytics team to ensure timely and compelling delivery of ad hoc analytic projects that align with and deliver against focus Retailer & CPG business issues and needs.

Work closely with The Learning Center and Sales Support teams on all CPG activities from training and on-boarding, to contract administration and revenue tracking.

 

What You Need:

Proven track record in turning data into actionable insights that drives action and delivers measurable business results

Excellent consultative, communication and project management skills.

Knowledge of the business strategies and tactics employed by both CPG and FMCPG retailers

Familiar with scanning, panel, primary research and their customer insights applications in a retail and/or CPG environment via software tools and consulting services.

Effective developer and presenter of actionable customer insights and demonstrator of software tools to Director level of a CPG organization.

Charismatic relationship builder.

Entrepreneurial approach to business development.

Can work effectively with external HQ development and support functions.

Written communication – creation of clear, concise and actionable materials for the client.

Bachelor’s degree required with concentration in Marketing or Business. MBA preferred.

Significant Retail or CPG experience working in a FMCPG retail environment in a category management or sales role for either a CPG or broker or in a merchant or category management role at a retailer or with a syndicated insight provider to the FMCPG industry.

Experience of working across or selling to Merchandising (Assortment, Pricing, Promotion, Placement), Category Management, Shopper Marketing and/or Shopper Insights.
