Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in outside sales, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in B2B sales, territory management, and customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce. As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in expanding our market presence through strategic business development and effective product demonstrations. This position is comission based only.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategies for business development and lead generation within assigned territories.
- Manage existing accounts and foster long-term relationships through exceptional customer service and account management.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs.
- Engage in direct sales activities including cold calling, inside sales, and territory sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer information, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Upsell additional products or services to existing customers to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional campaigns and increase brand awareness.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a strong understanding of territory management and account management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to conduct compelling product demos and presentations.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM tools; strong analysis skills for interpreting sales data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to cold call effectively and build rapport with clients across various industries including retail, technical sectors, or corporate environments.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, direct sales, upselling, and managing a territory effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of motivation and professionalism.
- A background in marketing or management is a plus; familiarity with inside sales strategies is advantageous.
