Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for a Security Guard Services Agency to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in outside sales, manage client accounts, and develop new business opportunities across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience with CRM software and territory management. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence through strategic business development and effective account management.
Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, including cold calling and networking
- Present product demos and technical sales solutions tailored to client needs
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals efficiently while maintaining professional relationships
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and analyze sales performance
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support territory growth
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue potential
- Maintain comprehensive records of all sales activities and client interactions for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and account management
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills, including product demos, cold calling, and business development outreach
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple accounts effectively
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and technology sales is preferred
- Demonstrated ability in analysis skills for market research and sales forecasting
- Experience in retail sales or direct sales is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle territory management efficiently
- A proactive approach toward lead generation and upselling opportunities
