LRS Architects is seeking a curious, motivated, and design-forward Interior Designer to join our Workplace team. Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Shape engaging workplace environments by contributing thoughtful, user-focused design solutions.
  • Translate creative concepts into clear Revit drawings and coordinated design documentation.
  • Support Design Managers in keeping projects aligned with scope, schedule, and budget, while spotting opportunities to elevate the design.
  • Manage multiple design priorities efficiently, delivering high-quality work with attention to detail.
  • Strengthen a collaborative, design-driven team culture through feedback, mentorship, and shared learning.
  • Assist in construction administration, helping bring design vision to life on-site.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Passionate about designing transformative, human-centered workplaces that inspire across private and public sectors.
  • Experienced in workplace interiors of all scales, from landlord renovations to high-design, visionary environments.
  • Collaborative and proactive, bringing clear communication and sharp organizational skills to every project.
  • Self-driven and anticipatory, able to manage work independently and keep projects moving forward.
  • Eager to grow and contribute, tackling diverse projects that expand your design perspective.
  • Confident with standards and documentation, delivering innovative, well-crafted solutions that set new benchmarks.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE VALUE:

  • Professional degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • 8–20 years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design studio.
  • Proficiency in Revit (intermediate to advanced required) and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Sketchup, Enscape, or other 3D modeling software.
  • Familiarity with building codes and coordination with local jurisdictions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience designing, producing and coordinating documentation for workplace projects.
  • Experience with Deltek Ajera is a plus.
  • LEED accreditation or NCIDQ certification is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices to include WELL, Fitwel, LEED
