About The Job
Are you an Emerging Interior Designer with a passion for pushing creative boundaries? At Ankrom Moisan, we are not just an award-winning Interior Design Firm; we are a vibrant community with offices in Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco. We embrace flexibility, offering hybrid work options and engaging projects across the West Coast, including Urban Living, Student Housing, Senior Communities, Healthcare, Hospitality, Workplace, and Retail.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of two days per week, with three days preferred to foster mentorship and support. In-office days should align with one or more of the Firm's designated anchor days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday. Occasional travel may be required.

What will you do in this role?
You will…
- Work under the direction of mid- to senior-level interior designers and have an understanding of each project's work plan to support the successful and profitable completion of each project.
- Assist mid- to senior-level interior designers in developing creative design concepts and preparing presentation drawings.
- Research and selects colors, finishes, and materials.
- Perform site surveys.
- Provide project documentation support for all phases of design.
- Observe process of construction administration.
- Participate in office initiatives.
- Support business development activities through assistance with visual aids and graphic support.
- Actively participate in design charrettes.
- Provide design support on space plans, furniture plans, elevations, sections, joinery/millwork details, and conceptual and finished design presentation documentation.
- Support in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and the FFE process as it applies to the appropriate market segment(s).
What You Bring To Be Successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design
- 1-4 Years of Professional Experience
- In REVIT, you can edit component types, draw detail lines, edit project information, render a 3D view, and create contoured topography.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and Knowledge of SketchUp.
- Exposure to interior design specifications, industry standards, and building codes; seeking guidance when new to any.
- Clear, professional, diplomatic communication skills, written and verbal.
- Working to develop strong presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Awareness of the importance of integrated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
- An understanding of design documentation.
