Private Cloud Onboarding Engineer

As part of a diverse and skilled Service Delivery Team, you will be tasked with implementing services and solutions for UFS clients. The engineer position provides intermediate to advanced level support, installation, and maintenance for UFS clients. The engineer will serve as an escalation point for analysts and assist with their overall training and development (I.E. Mentorship Program). The role includes all the responsibilities of an analyst in addition to the below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Consults, aids, mentors, and provides feedback to analyst on multilevel support incidents and implementations
- Utilizes higher level understanding and experience for troubleshooting and system management
- Leads private cloud onboarding projects and private cloud end-of-life migrations
- Leads private cloud server implementation and deployment projects
- Performs quality assurance processes on projects, tasks, and tickets
- Continually designs, develops, and revisits existing engineering processes
- Coordinates with senior engineer(s) to create and/or update documentation as needed for issue resolution
- Consults with internal teams on difficult implementations or issues
- Identifies product, service, and process weaknesses and recommends improvements
- Assists in leading team initiatives
- Attends and adds to discussions in team meetings
- Trains on technologies for skill enhancement
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; preference for Information Systems/Technology majors
- 5 years experience working with Windows servers
- Windows server migration experience a plus
- Experience within the financial services industry is a plus
