About the Role

The Western United States is home to some of the nation's most advanced aerospace, medical device, and industrial innovators — and Paragon Manufacturing is expanding its footprint.

As the Outside Sales Representative – West Region, you will be responsible for acquiring new OEM and Tier 1–3 accounts and securing production programs in high-growth markets. Reporting to the Director of Outside Sales, this role demands a technical, consultative salesperson who thrives on building relationships and closing complex manufacturing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with and report to the Director of Outside Sales to execute a regional growth plan across aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical manufacturing markets

Identify and engage OEM and Tier 1–3 opportunities requiring complex harness or electro-mechanical assemblies

Build strong relationships with engineers, program managers, and supply-chain executives

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to create compliant, manufacturable proposals

Represent Paragon at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits

Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline visibility, and revenue forecasts

Uphold all ITAR, DFARS, ISO 9001, and AS9100 compliance standards in customer engagements

What You Bring

5+ years of outside or technical sales experience within aerospace, defense, medical, or industrial manufacturing

Proven ability to acquire and grow OEM/Tier 1–3 accounts in complex, regulated environments

Familiarity with RFQ processes, MIL-SPECs, and AS9100/ISO frameworks

Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences

A hunter mindset — driven, ambitious, and results-oriented

The discipline and accountability to thrive in a remote, independent 1099 structure while aligning with company goals
