About Us
The Leg Pain Clinic is a physician-led, outpatient Interventional Radiology practice offering advanced, minimally invasive treatments (e.g., knee arthritis, varicose veins, PAD, UFE, embolization procedures). We value warm, efficient patient experiences and buttoned-up clinical and billing workflows.
The Role
You'll be the first friendly face our patients meet. As Front Desk Coordinator, you'll manage check-in/check-out, phones, scheduling, and day-of procedure logistics while keeping patient flow smooth and documentation accurate.
What You'll Do
- Greet patients, verify identity, and complete check-in/check-out with professionalism and empathy
- Answer multi-line phones; route messages; provide clear, courteous information
- Schedule clinic visits, imaging, and procedures; manage provider calendars and confirmations
- Verify benefits; collect copays/self-pay; issue receipts; reconcile daily deposits
- Scan and upload documents; ensure clean, complete charts in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
- Obtain/track referrals, authorizations, lab/imaging results; coordinate records requests
- Maintain lobby and front desk supplies; prepare daily patient packets and procedure day rosters
- Protect PHI and uphold HIPAA at all times; follow clinic SOPs and checklists
- Support special projects (patient reminders, reviews, outreach) as needed
What You'll Bring
- 1+ year medical front desk, scheduler, or patient access experience (interventional, vascular, or surgical setting a plus)
- eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience strongly preferred (or similar EMR)
- Confident with insurance/benefit verification, copay collections, and basic medical terminology
- Excellent communication, de-escalation, and time-management skills; detail-oriented and reliable
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, procedure-day environment; team-first mindset
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with CPT/ICD basics, prior auth workflows, and medical records coordination
- Experience supporting outpatient procedures (pre-op checklists, confirmations, post-visit instructions)
Benefits & Perks
- Competitive pay with performance incentives
- Training and growth in a modern, physician-led practice
- Supportive team culture, predictable weekday schedule
