Position Overview - Experienced Front Desk Agent Your role will be to ensure that the high standards of Hyatt Regency Houston West are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day in every interaction with our guests. As part of our team, you are expected to exemplify genuine care and an above and beyond, can do attitude with guests across the hotel. We are inviting experienced Front Desk Agents an opportunity to join our team and share the responsibility of providing a warm, welcoming, and seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests. This individual must embody the highest standards of service, professionalism, and discretion while anticipating guest needs and delivering memorable moments at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.  
  • Perform accurate and efficient check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with Hyatt Brand Standards  
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all hotel services, offerings, and local attractions to confidently assist guests.  
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, professionally, and empathetically.  
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.  
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to enhance personalization.  
  • Process payments and maintain accurate cash and credit card handling procedures.
  • Meet the Front Office KPI goals. (HOTSOS Ticket follow up, 30% WOH Enrollment Goal, 90% WOH Recognition, answers chats within 2 minuets, & exceptional customer service scores).  
  • Uphold the integrity, confidentiality, and luxury brand standards of the property.  
  • Continuously seek opportunities to exceed guest expectations.  

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of front desk experience in a 4- or 5-star luxury hotel or resort required. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).  
  • Proficient in property management systems (e.g., Opera, CA, or similar).  
  • Impeccable grooming, professional appearance, and polished demeanor.  
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Ability to remain calm and gracious under pressure.  
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
