POSITION SUMMARY

Your Wellness Sources is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team as an Independent Contractor This fully remote position focuses on providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support for outpatient mental health clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management via telehealth.

• Develop and revise individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients and integrated care teams.

• Document sessions and clinical interventions accurately and in a timely manner using the EHR (AthenaOne).

• Collaborate closely with primary care, nutrition, and case management to ensure whole-person care.

• Provide crisis support and utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Engage and educate clients, families, and caregivers as appropriate.

• Participate in required team meetings, supervision sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Maintain continuity of care through coordination with external providers.

• Uphold trauma-informed, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive care at all times.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Maryland Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with PMHNP specialization.

• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric medication management and outpatient mental health experience.

• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills.

• Current CPR certification.

• Experience with EHR systems (AthenaOne, Tebra, Epic, etc.).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated cultural humility and commitment to serving diverse communities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in addiction treatment and opioid replacement therapy.

• Familiarity with mental health documentation and medical necessity standards.

• Experience working with veterans, homeless populations, or patients with co-occurring disorders.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR – 1099)

· Pay: $70–$80 per hour based on experience. Optional per-patient reimbursement model available.

· Hours: 8 hours/week with flexible weekday scheduling (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM).

· Choose 4-hour or 8-hour shift blocks.

· Work Environment: Fully remote; requires a secure, private workspace.

· Support: Ppsychiatric supervision, clinical support, and continuing education opportunities.

· Contractor Status: This is a 1099 position. Contractor is responsible for taxes, insurance, licensure, and equipment.
