The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering world-class customer service to all retail customers by processing packages for shipment, prepares files for printing, assists customers with notary service, and operates point-of-sale devices. The ideal Center Associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in, email and telephone inquiries
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
- Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Maintains a positive demeanor and energy while helping a high volume of customers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
- Weekend availability a must
- High School graduates
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Able to operate independently and be self-driven to complete tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English & Spanish speaking is a plus
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Willing and able to work a flexible, part-time schedule that may span Monday through Sunday
