This is a contracted position for 9+ months. $80-$90 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Operations Manager to oversee an outsourced hospital billing (HB) operation encompassing an acute facility, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and multiple outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will bring deep operational expertise in hospital billing and third-party vendor management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HB outsourced operations across the hospital, ASC, and outpatient settings.
  • Serve as the liaison between internal finance teams and the outsourced billing partner.
  • Monitor KPIs, including DNFB, AR days, and clean claim rate; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee the integration of newly acquired entities and ensure alignment with organizational revenue cycle policies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and ensure adherence to payer compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize workflows and maintain financial integrity.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hospital revenue cycle management experience (non-Epic systems preferred).
  • Proven success managing outsourced billing operations or vendor transitions.
  • Strong knowledge of HB processes, payer requirements, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Master's Degree preferred
