About GroovHero (GH):

An initiative of Tribe Ingenuity Group LLC, and founder Kaye V. Love, GroovHero aims to empower students, employees, and wellness advocates facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, to use urban freestyle dance as a transformative tool to achieve holistic health, high functionality, and peak personal and professional performance. GroovHero partners with dance educators, dance and movement therapist, and holistic wellness professionals interested in service urban populations to provide authentic education on urban styles of freestyle dance that pairs and integrates evidence based therapeutic somatic movement instruction in both virtual and in-person one-on-one format, group classes, professional trainings, workshops, and social events.

About the Internship:

We're seeking a curious and motivated Marketing Assistant who's eager to gain real-world marketing experience by helping us build out our digital presence. This is a great opportunity for a student or early-career professional looking to get hands-on with community building, branding, and digital tools.

You'll support the launch of websites, social platforms, online shops, and more — all while learning how to manage the moving parts of a modern marketing operation.

What You'll Learn & Support:

  • Website creation and updates using no-code platforms
  • Launching e-commerce and online community spaces
  • Social media setup and basic content scheduling
  • Researching vendors and placing swag/merch orders
  • Tracking basic marketing metrics
  • Assisting with special marketing projects and tasks

What We're Looking For:

  • A quick learner with a get-it-done attitude
  • Some familiarity with digital tools (Canva, Google Workspace, social media platforms)
  • Interest in branding, design, marketing, or entrepreneurship
  • Self-starter comfortable with remote/independent work
  • Organized, creative, and reliable

Bonus If You Have:

  • A portfolio or examples of creative or marketing work
  • Experience with tools like Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or similar
  • Desire to grow in a marketing or communications career
