Position Overview:

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Marketing Assistant who loves weddings, beauty, and creative storytelling. You'll work directly with the company owner to manage and grow our online presence. This role is perfect for someone who's eager to learn, takes initiative, and isn't afraid to figure things out independently.

You'll have space to bring ideas to the table and take ownership of day-to-day marketing tasks while working closely with the owner for feedback and final approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and post content to Instagram, aligning with our laid-back luxury aesthetic and brand voice. Post 3x a week.
  • Update and refresh the website (galleries, blogs, portfolio updates, etc.) Quarterly
  • Curate and upload Pinterest boards to drive inspiration and brand visibility
  • Write and upload blog posts optimized for SEO, weddings, and bridal beauty trends. Monthly
  • Organize and utilize our photo library to create beautiful, cohesive content
  • Build out artist spotlights on our site and social platforms
  • Strategize creative ways to increase engagement and visibility organically
  • Track and report key marketing analytics (Instagram, Pinterest, and website insights)
  • Assist with email newsletters, brand collaborations, and styled shoot promotions (as needed)

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about weddings, beauty, and luxury lifestyle (a must)
  • Understands and appreciates a minimal, effortless, elevated aesthetic
  • Strong grasp of Instagram, Pinterest, and social media storytelling
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organization skills
  • Comfortable working independently and figuring things out resourcefully
  • Experience with Canva, Squarespace, Google Drive, Pinterest, Dropbox
  • Photo or video editing skills are a huge plus (but not required)

Position Details:

  • Remote, part-time: approximately 10-20 hours per week depending on needs
  • Flexible schedule with occasional weekday check-ins
  • Reports directly to the owner
  • Compensation: $1800-$2100 / month based on experience
  • Opportunity to grow with the brand as we expand our marketing and content efforts
