Having successfully developed in the UK and APAC, we are seeking an experienced key account manager in the US to ensure our clients are served at high quality. This role will also require the candidate to undertake sales responsibilities.This is a role requiring a blend of strategic vision and operational execution. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, and operations to ensure the operation and commercial function is optimised for growth.What You’ll Be Doing:Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with company objectives and market opportunities.Negotiate complex, high-value deals with merchants and partners, ensuring optimal pricingBuild and nurture client relationships by understanding their needs, aligning Kody’s products and services with their goals, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.Work closely with Customer Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing account management for all merchants, optimising customer experience and reducing churn.Identify market trends and new revenue opportunities, influencing Kody’s vision and business strategy.Represent the voice of the customer, providing insights to the product and technology teams to drive continuous improvement.Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including referral partners and key industry players.Requirements5+ years of experience in payment industry and deep industry expertise in global payments (ideally from companies such as Global Payments, WorldPay, Fiserv, or similar)Proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.Strong negotiation and deal closing skills, along with experience working with complex sales cycles.Experience working closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to optimise the commercial function.A proactive and adaptable mindset that thrives in a fast moving, high growth and pressurised environment.Strong communication and relationship building abilities with both internal stakeholders and external partneBenefitsA dynamic and innovative team in a very rapidly growing company.Competitive salary, commission and benefits package.Collaborative, inclusive environment where your contributions are recognised and valued.
