YouthWorks is a ministry of Real Resources, a nonprofit Christian faith-based organization whose core purpose is to serve churches by providing Christ-centered resources and experiences for ministry. YouthWorks exists to connect teenagers to God, each other, and communities through life-changing Christ-centered mission trips.

The Mobilization Team's Focus:

The Mobilization Team is focused on a holistic sales and customer service approach. YouthWorks values long-term relationships with our customers and provides one-on-one support when necessary.

The Position:

The YouthWorks Sales and Customer Support Rep (Trip Specialist) guides potential customers through the entire YouthWorks sales process for mission trips, from prospecting to registration. This includes cold calling and emailing to generate new leads, representing YouthWorks at events, nurturing qualified leads, scheduling, giving discovery calls, and closing sales of trips.

Reporting: The YouthWorks Trip Specialist reports directly to the Director of Mobilization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The YouthWorks Trip Specialist is responsible for and accountable for a set number of YouthWorks orders in a given time frame. The person filling this role must align with the responsibilities of this team:

  • Communicate YouthWorks mission, vision, and values in and through sales and customer service with churches, organizations, students, staff, and other partners.
Seek Out, Build, and Develop Committed Customer Relationships
  • Engage in prospecting and cold calling to generate qualified leads for YouthWorks Mission Trips.
  • Utilize the nurturing process to market qualified contacts, leads, and new opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs and support them through the sales/registration process.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and Live Chats from potential customers.
  • Present discovery calls that cast vision and promote engagement.
Additional Tasks
  • Manage leads and contacts through the sales process using CRM best practices.
  • Cross-sell Border Trips and connect customers to the Border Perspective Team.
  • Provide reports of call activities, appointments, and sales as directed.
  • May take on additional tasks supporting overall ministry efforts.

Requirements for This Position:

Minimum Requirements
  • A person of integrity, trustworthiness, and responsibility aligned with YouthWorks' values.
  • 2-3 years of sales or customer service experience with proven success in lead development and sales closing.
  • Ability to self-lead, problem-solve independently, and strategize to exceed sales goals.
  • Strong phone and presentation skills.
  • Excellent demeanor for developing new customer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in internet use.
  • Active and growing Christian faith and comfort sharing it as part of job duties.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with churches/pastors and familiarity with YouthWorks.
Physical Requirements
  • Capable of repetitive motion and lifting heavy objects (25 pounds and greater).
  • Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for extended times.
  • Ability to travel for events.

Compensation and Benefits: $45,000 - $55,000 annual salary. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
