To assure the smooth efficient operation of the assigned department so as to maximize a positive impact on the Grants Management office.
To complete the confidential work essential to the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned department and of the District.
Performance Responsibilities
Performs confidential administrative functions.
Hold as confidential, all aspects of the job designated confidential by the supervisor.
Maintain an efficient and well organized electronic and paper data collection and filing systems, including confidential files.
Create forms, and compile and organize data and information necessary for the efficient operation of the office, the completion of required School, District and State data collections.
Work cooperatively with staff in other offices with the completion of large or time sensitive projects.
Answers and responds appropriately to inquiries regarding school/District policies, procedures, and/or requests for information.
Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens callers in accordance with predetermined policy.
Assist Manager/Supervisor and other stakeholders in budgetary processes.
Work with internal and external stakeholders in regards to staff and community needs.
All other duties as assigned by the Grants Manager, Superintendent and/or designee.
Qualifications
- At least three (2) years of office experience.
- Respect for confidentiality of all information is essential.
- Responsible for notifying staff of important information or changes (upcoming coming events, change of times or schedule, canceling afterschool programs, etc..) in a timely matter.
- Must demonstrate an ability to maintain a professional office atmosphere.
- Must be self-motivated and flexible with an ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision.
- Must demonstrate strong skills in both written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and pay strict attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate an ability to effectively interact with staff, District leadership and the community.
- Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with colleagues and supervisors based upon respect and commitment.
- Demonstration of a strong work ethic is essential.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, MUNIS, Aspen and School Dude. An independent willingness to upgrade skills as necessary is expected.
- Excellent attendance record is essential.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a non-union position.
WORK YEAR: Calendar year position.
WORK DAY: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m./40 hours per week
START DATE: Immediately
Salary: $52,000.00 - $58,000.00 (based on experience)
