Key Accounts Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in South Florida. The ideal candidate will be an experienced liquor sales professional with a strong existing network of contacts within the restaurant, bar, and liquor store sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market share by managing and nurturing relationships with key retailers in the region.
This position offers a competitive base salary of $70,000, plus the potential for an additional $10,000 in commission based on sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Account Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base within assigned area.
- Open new accounts and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts opened in the restaurant, bar, and liquor store sectors.
- Regularly visit clients to ensure satisfaction, troubleshoot issues, and identify growth opportunities.
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and present tailored product solutions to meet clients' needs.
- Leverage your existing network of contacts in the South Florida liquor distribution industry to close sales and expand market reach.
Product Knowledge & Sales Presentations:
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and industry trends.
- Conduct product presentations and tastings to restaurant owners, bar managers, and retail buyers.
- Act as a liaison between clients and our company, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Sales Reporting & Administration:
- Provide regular sales reports, updates, and forecasts to management.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and new opportunities within the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in liquor sales or alcohol distribution, with a strong Rolodex of contacts within the restaurant, bar, and retail liquor sectors in South Florida.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role with a liquor distribution company.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales quotas and exceed performance expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Self-motivated and driven with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with the South Florida market, including industry trends, competition, and key players.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular client visits.
