On-call for Community Living: A great opportunity to develop problem solving skills in a Direct support On-call role. Split shift Monday – Friday 6a-8a and 6p-12a Midnight. Assists with providing solutions for all after-hours urgent needs for the people we serve in group homes, as well as urgent staffing needs. Responsible for coordinating support services related to - scheduling fill-in staff, urgent vehicle or maintenance needs, and urgent health and medical needs. May work from home coordinating services, but will also be required to report to other destinations and fill-in at residential program sites. Requires skills and knowledge to quickly network and develop solutions to resolve all after-hours emergencies involving persons served, and staffing coverage. Must maintain a thorough working knowledge of all persons served and staff in our Community Living programs. Regular On-call split shift- Monday – Friday 6a-8a and 6p-12a Midnight (plus Midnight to 6a on-call availability as needed). $13.35/hr on-call rate. Hiring immediately. EOE
Requirements for an On-call:
- High school diploma or accredited GED
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, dependable vehicle
- One year of work experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities – experience in a residential program setting is preferred
- Have home Internet access - to remote in from home
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and documentation follow-up
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less
- Able to attend a daytime training during the first weeks of employment
- Other beneficial experience: Medical emergencies, DSP, CNA, Direct Care, HHA, third shift, restorative aide, Independent skills trainer, Medical Aide, direct support, Medical Assistant, adult care, special education, teaching, advocacy, home supports, mental Health, human services, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekend shift, home health aide, overnight.
