This is not a remote position. The Marketing Specialist will create compelling social media, web, and print graphics and content that aligns with our client’s overall strategic plan, audience needs, and corporate messaging across multiple companies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and creativity.  The Marketing Specialist should be a versatile and engaging writer with good design judgment who can adapt content messaging to reach audiences through multiple digital and print properties, including but not limited to emails, product instructions, postcards, signage, graphics, and websites. This person should also be highly knowledgeable and skilled in copy editing.  The Marketing Specialist will perform quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, brand-message consistency, and the timely coordination of project deadlines. This role requires experience with handling multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a design sense and be an exceptional writer, strategist, collaborator, and passionate about developing effective content.  Primary Responsibilities:  
  • Create original content for marketing campaigns, e-mails, newsletters, blogs, websites postcards, signage, and other promotional materials
  • Stay current with social media, email marketing, website and content writing best practices, SEO standards, and trends 
  • Create, edit, and proofread marketing materials and content as assigned 
  • Create branding, instructions, and marketing for new products
  • Manage websites including e-commerce websites and landing pages through WordPress
  • Create and update sales sheets and rich media to build brand awareness and support sales activity
  • Assist Marketing Specialists and Marketing Manager with day-to-day duties as assigned 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Adobe Creative Suite familiarity and design skills for web and print
  • Any other duties as assigned
Position Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 1-2 years of experience with digital marketing and strategy 
  • 3-5 years of experience with Adobe suite and graphic design, specifically Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator 
  • Experience in a B2B environment is highly preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus in writing for web content, social media, and online marketing 
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment with shifting priorities
  • Positive “can do” attitude; an entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to dig in and get it done
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; NetSuite experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record
