DutiesYou will provide availability planning and execution either from within NAVSEA, Team Sub, at a public shipyard, or at a Trident Refit Facility (TRF).You will oversee contracts with special consideration to duties as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR).You will ensure submarine shipbuilding, maintenance, overhaul and configuration management policies and practices.You will develop budget and cost estimation policies, procedures and practices.You will render expert and authoritative acquisition advice and technical guidance to senior level manager and program directors.You will resolve critical problems or develop new theories to produce innovative and resource effective solutions.You will ensure functions/roles, relationships, policies and practices of the submarine logistics and technical communities.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and recommending methodologies and approaches for complex organizational issues pertaining to assigned programs. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include demonstrated knowledge of submarine and submarine systems, as well as technical and analytical ability sufficient to conduct and document various studies and analyses.
