Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a social media manager for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC

This position is a 100% remote contract to hire opportunity

Compensation ranges $29-31/hr.

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager with a passion for creating engaging content and building strong online communities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in content creation, community management, and social media strategy, with at least three years of experience in a similar role. This individual will play a key role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, curate, and publish high-quality, engaging content across social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging platforms.
  • Community Management: Actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and interactive online community.
  • Social Media Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with business goals, increase brand visibility, and drive traffic and engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics, using data to inform and optimize future strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage paid and organic social media campaigns to promote products, services, or brand initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, creative, and product teams to align social media content with broader marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative in the digital space.
  • Influencer & Partnership Engagement: Build and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and strategic partners to expand reach and credibility.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to grow and manage online communities.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
