Objective: Perform regular market research to prospect and develop new business opportunities by forging partnerships with Equipment Planners, General Contractors, and Architects, and all other such stakeholders that participate in the planning of medical equipment in a newly developed or expansion of an existing medical facility. Direct collaboration with the Operations the Commercial divisions.

Essential Responsibilities:

Working with the Business Development Manager

  • Identify growth opportunities, emerging client needs and and create account sales plans focusing on activity within our long term construction sales cycle.
  • Keep abreast of competitor product offerings and market trends with Equipment Planners, General Contractors and Architects.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to Identify the key General Contractors, Architects, Equipment Planners, and all other such stakeholders to establish an extensive network within this community.
  • Lead efforts to incorporate specifications of Guldmann solutions in future medical construction projects while building strong relationships.
  • Analyze data and report to management on actionable directions and follow up on business development activities, opportunities and plans.
  • Research core market strategy clients to understand and market effectively.
  • Perform regular presentations, both live and virtual, targeting the necessary external stakeholders, to increase Guldmann's exposure among this targeted group using a long-term sales strategy and vision.
  • Execute the necessary online campaigns and promotional materials to target this group and develop a social media presence.
  • Grows accounts and territory to meet or exceed performance goals. Executes Guldmann specified projects to Regional Managers.
  • Represent the company at regional and national trade shows, associations, events and community outreach to elevate our brand and effectively communicate our commitment to Time To Care.
  • Review, assist and advise on design and pre-design activities with the Customer Relationship Team Members.
  • Assist in the creation of printed materials and outreach plans applicable to this audience for advancement as a safe patient handling resource.

Requirements:

Education and Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor's degree in business/ marketing with 3+ years' experience in sales and market development in healthcare industry preferable.

  • Strong oral and written communication to engage in regular selling activities.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with CRM system, Dodge and Insight knowledge, and Microsoft suite of products.
  • Travel required 15-25% within the USA, some weekends required.
