ESCO/Perofrmance Contracting Sales Account Executive

My client is a specialty contractor who is actively growing their Energy Engineer market sector and would like an Account Executive to help with Performance Contracting Sales and Business Development.
- the candidate hired will be particularly focused on energy services and performance contracting to public entities including but not limited to; K-12 education, county government, state agencies, healthcare and higher education.
- Identify, sell, renew or expand service agreements as part of a bundled offering to the performance contract.
- Coordinate and perform duties and responsibilities such as lead generation, customer services, proposal development, customer acquisition and coordinating the start of projects for Performance Contracts and other energy services solutions.
- Respond to Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications.
- Self generate leads within the identified vertical markets and geographical regions
- Ability to facilitate complex technical and financial solutions unique to each opportunity in an effective and efficient manner.
- Identify project goals and timelines to maximize project development and engineering resources.
- Guide clients through energy efficiency project financing and contracting processes.
- Develop and maintain a sales plan for identifying energy retrofit project opportunities and other services identified by the customer.
- Other duties as assigned
Account Executive Experience, technical skills & attributes required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. PE and / or MBA preferred.
- Prior ESCO / Energy Savings Performance Contracting experience is required.
- 3 - 5 years of financial / performance contracting experience including previous leadership, sales, and marketing with an energy services or related organization.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong verbal, written, computer communication and technical presentation skills.
- Strong needs-based sales skills.
- Knowledge of building infrastructure systems and energy analysis.
- Valid Drivers’ License in good standing, issued by resident state required.
