Join Our Oregon Sleep Associates (OSA) Team as a Full-Time Medical Assistant

Location: NW Portland

Oregon Sleep Associates (OSA), an esteemed AASM-accredited sleep practice, is in search of a dedicated full-time Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our compassionate team. At OSA, you'll collaborate with our board-certified sleep specialists to deliver outstanding care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient intake for both clinic and telehealth appointments to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Accompany patients during medical visits, accurately taking and organizing medical notes.
  • Schedule medical care and diagnostic tests as directed by physicians.
  • Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
  • Assist in processing prescription refills and referrals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to our team’s success.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in medical assisting.
  • Valid Medical Assistant certification.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and dedication to quality care.
  • Familiarity with Athena electronic health records system is a plus, but not required.
  • Outstanding work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills.
