Key Responsibilities- Administer medications accurately and in a timely manner, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Provide basic nursing tasks, such as vital sign monitoring and wound care, as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Model expert practice and facilitate orientation to basic resident care for new nursing staff.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Certified Medication Aide upon hire.
- Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position upon hire.
- 1 year of experience as a CMA in a health care setting.
- 6 months as CMA at the Children's Nursing Center.
