Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is partnering with a client in Lexington, NC searching for an HR Coordinator on a 5-6 month contract basis. This role will be onsite M-F, 30 hours/week and will pay $20-26/hr. depending on experience. Must be able to commute to Lexington and must be open to a strictly contract role.

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll within HRIS

  • Verify timecards for contract employees and send to partner staffing agencies

  • Assist employees with benefits changes and update within system

  • Review and process FMLA and worker’s compensation claims

  • Communicate with Financial Advisor to answer 401k questions

  • Act as first point of contact for employee questions

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to commute to Lexington and be open to a part-time, contract role

  • Must have HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or construction company

  • Payroll/benefits experience a plus

  • Must be a self-starter, resourceful, and able to adapt to changes

Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
