As a key member of the CPM Holdings, Inc. team, the Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the HR department within the assigned business unit. This on-site position adheres to the company's remote work policy and reports directly to the CPM Corp HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the HR team in recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and ATS management, to ensure a seamless hiring process.
2. Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications to maintain a compliant and secure work environment.
3. Perform employment verifications to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
4. Support the HR team with new hire orientation and employee recognition programs to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
5. Perform daily HR administrative tasks, including employee file documentation, training and development, benefits support, leave coordination, and time & attendance support.
6. Serve as a liaison between operations and HR, effectively communicating HR-related updates and critical information to all employees.
7. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team members.
8. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
9. Stay up-to-date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
10. Assist with performance evaluation management, disciplinary employee investigations, safety training compliance, and tracking.
11. Manage recruiting, referral, and sign-on bonus programs to attract and retain top talent.
12. Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives to create a workplace that values and respects all employees.
Requirements:
1. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

9. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
11. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or similar experience.
Required 3 to 5 years' experience in a HR role.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.
