Responsibilities

The Resolution Specialist is responsible for supporting both employees and suppliers within the organization's supply chain operations. Their day-to-day duties include:

  • Resolving 90-120 match exceptions (issues with invoices and purchase orders) daily, following standard procedures, and addressing escalated inquiries.
  • Using the ServiceNow ticketing system to track and respond to these issues,
  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls with suppliers and employees to support the procure-to-pay process.

The specialist identifies recurring issues and trends, providing feedback to management, and frequently runs queries to help resolve invoice problems. They are expected to maintain effective communication and customer service, acting as a professional role model to their peers. The role also requires maintaining confidentiality and fostering open communication within the department.

This position requires strong organizational, communication, and independent working skills, along with a preferred background in purchasing, operations, or accounts payable. Experience with basic computer systems and preferably PeopleSoft or other healthcare systems is a plus.
