Job Title: IT Support Technician

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our QESA OSE team, you will provide technical support and assistance to computer users, troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and network problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, providing end-user assistance where required.
  • Provide walk-thru customer first service, interact with our end-user base, and maintain appropriate stockroom levels.
  • Train users on technology equipment and provide process documentation, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Remotely troubleshoot incidents using technical and investigative procedures to provide a resolution for end-users.
  • Complete ticket logging, classification, and categorization correctly and efficiently, following up on outstanding incidents/requests to provide better customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Strong IT troubleshooting and technical skills related to end-user computing (PCs, Smartphones, Windows, Microsoft apps, etc.) and networking.
  • Hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for workstations, including PC, Tablets, MFDs, Printers, and other devices.
  • Support for conference room audio/video equipment and utilization of the ticketing system to respond to requests and incidents.
  • End-user training on device use and functionality, and use of IT portals for creating requests and inquiries.
  • Maintenance of physical asset management records and inventory, performing audits to verify accuracy.
  • Adherence to all security-related policies as it pertains to IT support, asset management procedures, and other areas.
