Sales Operation Specialist

Position Overview: LHH is seeking a strong candidate for a client in the Smyrna area. The Sales Operation Specialist is responsible for facilitating all capital equipment orders to the factory and coordinating delivery logistics for all units to customers and dealers. This role involves ensuring proper freight documentation is in place and all relevant paperwork accompanies capital equipment sales, as well as maintaining the Equipment Sales Database and appropriate filing. The Sales Operation Specialist also provides administrative support to Business Line Managers, Sales Representatives, and the Service Department as required.
Key Performance Areas:
Process capital equipment orders in accordance with policy.
Create initial WIP jobs for capital equipment and process them through to final invoicing.
Oversee equipment manual distribution for sales and rentals.
Maintain the Weekly Equipment Delivery Tracker for various product lines.
Ensure all invoices related to equipment sales and rentals are processed within 48 hours of notification.
Ensure all sales/rental credits are processed in accordance with policy.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers.
Ensure all appropriate documentation is provided to financing entities if equipment is financed.
Process lien holder documentation (UCC Filings) in collaboration with the Credit Manager.
Comply with safety policies and applicable government, customer, or industry regulations or requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of equipment.
Provide administrative support to related departments as needed.
Address and resolve any issues related to equipment orders and deliveries.
Routinely report on performance and trends with suppliers.
Stay informed about market trends, prices, and new product developments.
Analyze costs related to purchasing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Manage the quality of the supply and ensure compliance with standards.
Conduct onsite meetings with suppliers as needed.
Manage inventory and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of order/delivery/sales invoicing experience in a similar environment.
Experience in the supply of equipment within the mining or construction industry is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP is a plus.
Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business, contract, and legal documents.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Strong customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
