Walnut Creek Non-Profit client is looking for an onsite Program Associate.


The Program Associate will provide support for all programs by enforcing policies and assisting with implementation of the programs. This role will work collaboratively with the Senior Programs Associate, Programs Associate (1), and State Chairs. The focus will be on providing support to all stake holders throughout the year.


Program Associate Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable on all Programs Policies and Procedures

• Proofread all Policies and Procedures

• Provide support to State Chairs, teachers, parents and students

• Provide customer support

• Assist with the creation and tracking of program mailers

• Proofread all program mailers

• Assist with phones during heavy volumes

• Administer all birthdate verifications for programs

• Verifying all dates in the system are correct for all programs

• Provide back up to Administrative Assistant with materials sales

• Convention Exhibitor Manager

• Advertising Manager

• Updating all advertising documents and forms

• Updating all Exhibits and Sponsorship documents and support tools


Requirements:

• Travel to the annual Convention every year on or around Fourth of July

• Overtime required during the Convention Week in July

• Overtime required on weekends during the months of February and March

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs

• Experience with databases

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Time management skills

• Experience with Project Management software

• Able to work collaboratively

• Demonstrated experience in project management will be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
