Insurance Associate

The Insurance Associate position at Marsh & McLennan Agency is a career-launching opportunity for individuals seeking a role in client service. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the department, including responding to requests, maintaining files, and setting up client shells.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as copying, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Download department mail from insurance carrier websites daily and sort, scan, and distribute via ImageRight Tasks mail and communications.
- Process Loss Run reports and request loss runs based on monthly reports and carrier requirements.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other associates and develop familiarity with the department's functions and associates.
- Identify needs and competencies for advancement and make use of training opportunities.
- Communicate system or process-related problems to the supervisor.
- Earn a P&C Producers license upon completion of the program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- 1+ years in an office or customer service environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external parties.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers, peers, and clients.
Working Environment
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled office environment.
- General technology as it relates to office administration.
- Regular business hours with additional hours required during certain periods.
The base salary range for this role is $46,000 to $67,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
