Robert Half is seeking a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper for one of our clients in Columbus, Ohio. This role is a part time (20 hours per week) long term contract employment opportunity in the nonprofit industry. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks such as account reconciliation, managing fiscal operations, and maintaining data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable efficiently
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Maintain and update balance sheets regularly for accurate financial reporting
  • Track and manage grants, ensuring their proper utilization and reporting
  • Handle monthly end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial calculations
  • Take initiative in managing fiscal operations to optimize financial performance
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records for reference and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
  • Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is necessary
  • Experience in Bookkeeping is essential
  • Must have skills in Data Entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience with Month End Close is essential
