Property Bookkeeper OH

Columbus OH United States Creative Financial Staffing Full time

Are you an ambitious, early-career accountant looking to get your start in the dynamic real estate industry? Our growing property development and management firm in vibrant downtown Columbus is seeking a detail-oriented Property Bookkeeper to join our team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of property accounting and finance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate books and records for our diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties
  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Reconciling bank accounts and processing payments to vendors and contractors
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Providing support to our property managers and owners on accounting-related matters

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Yardi
  • A passion for the real estate industry and a desire to contribute to a growing company
