LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced accounting professional for a growing client in Columbus, OH. The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and conducting financial analysis to support the company's financial health and decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $60K and $70K annually.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitor actual performance against budget.
  • Backup payroll processing when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
